What: The Developmental Diagnostic and Support Clinic is part of Disability Services. The clinic offers:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments and diagnosis for school-aged children;
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) assessments and diagnosis for adults.

Finding a Doctor
What: The Find a primary care provider service connects residents of Whitehorse and surrounding areas with primary care providers who are accepting new patients.
Who: To use this service, you must:
have a valid Yukon Health Care Insurance Plan (YHCIP);
be 16 years old or older; and
not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner.

Home Care
What: Whitehorse services include:
care coordination;
social work;
home support;
occupational therapy;
physiotherapy;
nursing; and
speech-language pathology.
Community services include:
care coordination;
regional home support workers;
community-based nursing; and
regional therapy services (physiotherapy, occupational therapy or speech-language pathology).
Who: Yukoners of all ages are eligible if they: have an assessed need for home care; and have, or have applied for, the Yukon Health Care Insurance Plan.

The Yukon Healthy Living Program (YHLP)
What: The Yukon Healthy Living Program (YHLP) is a patient-centred, collaborative care team. It offers a variety of programs and services for Yukoners living with chronic health conditions. Choose which programs and services will help you live well and make plans for the future. They offer a number of services and classes. It is always a good idea to look at their calendar of events.

YG-Children’s Disability Services
What: Children’s Disability Services We promote inclusion of children with disabilities in community life. Our social workers help families access the services they need. These services include:
an inclusion worker;
respite care for families;
a behaviour consultant and applied behaviour analysis therapy;
occupational therapy and physical therapy; and
speech-language pathology (therapy).
Who: You're eligible if:
you're a Yukon resident;
your child is under 19 years of age; and
your child has a disability that makes it difficult for them to do typical, day-to-day activities.
