CAFN-Emergency On-Call Support

What: CAFN provides weekend on-call support from
5:00 pm on Friday – 8:30 pm on Monday.


Who: Citizens within CAFN Traditional Territory

Champagne and Aishihik First Nations

What: CAFN also provides education, support, prevention, referrals and counseling to Citizens for:

  • Family violence

  • Suicide Prevention

  • Child protection

  • Trauma

  • Stress/anxiety

Cost: Free

Mental Wellness and Substance Use Services

What: Provides a variety of free counselling, mental health nursing and support worker services to children, youth and families and adults. Services may include:

  • Rapid Access Counselling (within 24-72 hours of referral);

  • individual counselling;

  • group counselling;

  • drop in wellness groups;

  • support in accessing treatment options and withdrawal management services;

  • outreach services;

  • harm reduction support and training; and

  • community support and education.
