Boreal Roots Counselling

CMHY- Support for Care Givers

What: This peer-led support group is dedicated to providing a compassionate and understanding space for individuals who support a loved one facing serious mental health challenges. Held twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings, our group offers a supportive environment where members can share experiences, exchange information, and offer emotional support.


Who:  Individuals who support a loved one facing serious mental health challenges.

Kim Scott Registered Psychologist

What: Kim has a masters degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary.  She is a registered psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, and a Certified Play Therapist with the Canadian Association For Play Therapy. 


Kim provides confidential counselling services to children, adolescents, adults and families.  She has training in various areas of psychotherapy that includes: trauma, EMDR, play-therapy, and attachment.  She provides services for a various issues that include: depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, family issues, and children going through separation/divorce.
